Louis C.K. Compared Donald Trump to Hitler: ‘He’s an Insane Bigot’

From: Variety
Louis C.K. is one of many public figures to criticize Donald Trump, calling him an “insane bigot” and comparing him to Adolf Hitler.

In a March morning email blast announcing the sixth episode of his web series “Horace and Pete,” C.K. included a lengthy postscript urging readers not to vote for Trump.

“Please stop it with voting for Trump,” C.K. wrote. “It was funny for a little while. But the guy is Hitler. And by that I mean that we are being Germany in the ’30s. Do you think they saw the sh-t coming? Hitler was just some hilarious and refreshing dude with a weird comb over who would say anything at all.”

Later in the email, C.K. implored his conservative readers to vote for a different GOP candidate.

“We shouldn’t have to vote for someone because they’re not a shocking c— billionaire liar,” C.K. wrote. “We should choose based on what direction the country should go… If you are a true conservative. Don’t vote for Trump. He is not one of you. He is one of him. Everything you have heard him say that you liked, if you look hard enough you will see that he one day said the exact opposite. He is playing you.”

C.K. added, “Trump is not your best. He’s the worst of all of us. He’s a symptom to a problem that is very real. But don’t vote for your own cancer. You’re better than that.”

See the full postscript below:

P.S. Please stop it with voting for Trump. It was funny for a little while. But the guy is Hitler. And by that I mean that we are being Germany in the 30s. Do you think they saw the shit coming? Hitler was just some hilarious and refreshing dude with a weird comb over who would say anything at all.
And I’m not advocating for Hillary or Bernie. I like them both but frankly I wish the next president was a conservative only because we had Obama for eight years and we need balance. And not because I particularly enjoy the conservative agenda. I just think the government should reflect the people. And we are about 40 percent conservative and 40 percent liberal. When I was growing up and when I was a younger man, liberals and conservatives were friends with differences. They weren’t enemies. And it always made sense that everyone gets a president they like for a while and then hates the president for a while. But it only works if the conservatives put up a good candidate. A good smart conservative to face the liberal candidate so they can have a good argument and the country can decide which way to go this time.
Trump is not that. He’s an insane bigot. He is dangerous.
He already said he would expand libel laws to sue anyone who “writes a negative hit piece” about him. He says “I would open up the libel laws so we can sue them and win lots of money. Not like now. These guys are totally protected.” He said that. He has promised to decimate the first amendment. (If you think he’s going to keep the second amendment intact you’re delusional.) And he said that Paul Ryan, speaker of the house will “pay” for criticizing him. So I’m saying this now because if he gets in there we won’t be able to criticize him anymore.
Please pick someone else. Like John Kasich. I mean that guy seems okay. I don’t like any of them myself but if you’re that kind of voter please go for a guy like that. It feels like between him and either democrat we’d have a decent choice. It feels like a healthier choice. We shouldn’t have to vote for someone because they’re not a shocking cunt billionaire liar.
We should choose based on what direction the country should go.
I get that all these people sound like bullshit soft criminal opportunists. The whole game feels rigged and it’s not going anywhere but down anymore. I feel that way sometimes.
And that voting for Trump is a way of saying “fuck it. Fuck them all”. I really get it. It’s a version of national Suicide. Or it’s like a big hit off of a crack pipe. Somehow we can’t help it. Or we know that if we vote for Trump our phones will be a reliable source of dopamine for the next four years. I mean I can’t wait to read about Trump every day. It’s a rush. But you have to know this is not healthy.
If you are a true conservative. Don’t vote for Trump. He is not one of you. He is one of him. Everything you have heard him say that you liked, if you look hard enough you will see that he one day said the exact opposite. He is playing you.
In fact, if you do vote for Trump, at least look at him very carefully first. You owe that to the rest of us. Know and understand who he is. Spend one hour on google and just read it all. I don’t mean listen to me or listen to liberals who put him down. Listen to your own people. Listen to John Mccain. Go look at what he just said about Trump. “At a time when our world has never been more complex or more in danger… I want Republican voters to pay close attention to what our party’s most respected and knowledgeable leaders and national security experts are saying about Mr. Trump, and to think long and hard about who they want to be our next Commander-in-Chief and leader of the free world.”
When Trump was told what he said, Trump said “Oh, he did? Well, that’s not nice,” he told CBS News’ chief White House correspondent Major Garrett. “He has to be very careful.”
When pressed on why, Trump tacked on: “He’ll find out.”
(I cut and pasted that from CBS news)
Do you really want a guy to be president who threatens John McCain? Because John McCain cautiously and intelligently asked for people to be thoughtful before voting for him? He didn’t even insult Trump. He just asked you to take a good look. And Trump told him to look out.
Remember that Trump entered this race by saying that McCain is not a war hero. A guy who was shot down, body broken and kept in a POW camp for years. Trump said “I prefer the guys who don’t get caught.” Why did he say that? Not because he meant it or because it was important to say. He said it because he’s a bully and every bully knows that when you enter a new school yard, you go to the toughest most respected guy on the yard and you punch him in the nose. If you are still standing after, you’re the new boss. If Trump is president, he’s not going to change. He’s not going to do anything for you. He’s going to do everything for himself and leave you in the dust.
So please listen to fellow conservatives. But more importantly, listen to Trump. Listen to all of it. Everything he says. If you liked when he said that “torture works” then go look at where he took it back the next day. He’s a fucking liar.
A vote for Trump is so clearly a gut-vote, and again I get it. But add a little brain to it and look the guy up. Because if you vote for him because of how you feel right now, the minute he’s president, you’re going to regret it. You’re going to regret it even more when he gives the job to his son. Because American democracy is broken enough that a guy like that could really fuck things up. That’s how Hitler got there. He was voted into power by a fatigued nation and when he got inside, he did all his Hitler things and no one could stop him.
Again, I’m not saying vote democrat or vote for anyone else. If Hilary ends up president it should be because she faced the best person you have and you and I both chose her or him or whoever. Trump is not your best. He’s the worst of all of us. He’s a symptom to a problem that is very real. But don’t vote for your own cancer. You’re better than that.
That’s just my view. At least right now. I know I’m not qualified or particularly educated and I’m not right instead of you. I’m an idiot and I’m sure a bunch of you are very annoyed by this. Fucking celebrity with an opinion. I swear this isn’t really a political opinion. You don’t want to know my political opinions. (And I know that I’m only bringing myself trouble with this shit.) Trump has nothing to do with politics or ideology. He has to do with himself. And really I don’t mean to insult anyone. Except Trump. I mean to insult him very much. And really I’m not saying he’s evil or a monster. In fact I don’t think Hitler was. The problem with saying that guys like that are monsters is that we don’t see them coming when they turn out to be human, which they all are. Everyone is. Trump is a messed up guy with a hole in his heart that he tries to fill with money and attention. He can never ever have enough of either and he’ll never stop trying. He’s sick. Which makes him really really interesting. And he pulls you towards him which somehow feels good or fascinatingly bad. He’s not a monster. He’s a sad man. But all this makes him horribly dangerous if he becomes president. Give him another TV show. Let him pay to put his name on buildings. But please stop voting for him. And please watch Horace and Pete.

Trump: ‘In 2008, I Supported Hillary Clinton’

From: CSNews
In March's presidential primary debate in Detroit, businessman Donald Trump explained why in 2008 he contributed to then-Sen. Hillary Clinton when she was running for president.

“Actually, it was for business. It was. It was,” said Trump. “It was for business. I pride myself, including outside of the United States. I'm doing almost 120 deals outside of the--which I hope to be able to stop very soon and let my children handle it--but we're doing many, many deals outside of the United States.

“I support politicians,” said Trump. “In 2008, I supported Hillary Clinton. I supported many other people, by the way.”

Here is a transcript of the part of the debate where this was discussed:

Cruz: “Donald Trump in 2008 wrote four checks to elect Hillary Clinton as president. So I'd like to ask Donald, why did you write checks to Hillary Clinton to be president in 2008? It wasn't for business. And how can you stand on a debate stage now with her and say you don't think she should be president?
Trump: "Actually, it was for business. It was. It was. It was for business. I pride myself, including outside of the United States. I'm doing almost 120 deals outside of the--which I hope to be able to stop very soon and let my children handle it--but we're doing many, many deals outside of the United States. I support politicians. In 2008, I supported Hillary Clinton. I supported many other people, by the way. And that was because of the fact that I'm in business. I did support very heavily Ronald Reagan. I also supported George Bush, by the way."

Samantha Bee Asked Latinos for Trump Founder to Describe a ‘Typical Mexican’ (It Didn’t Go Well)

From: Towleroad
Samantha Bee decided to give Latinos for Trump founder Marco Gutierrez a chance at redemption. Gutierrez rose to fame as the guy who said if we don’t elect Donald Trump there will be a taco truck on every corner in the U.S.

Bee’s show Full Frontal asked Gutierrez to describe a typical Mexican.

It didn’t go well.

“Stubborn, arrogant, false pride, intolerant, selfish,” he said.

The interviewer attempts to clarify, “Thats a typical Mexican?”

To which Gutierrez responds, “Yes, I’m one.”

Lady Bunny, Sherry Vine, Milan And “Hillary Clinton” Celebrate 20 Years Of NYC Drag Cabaret Lips

An exclusive report from the legendary Lady Bunny.
From: NewNowNext
I had such a raging blast of a time celebrating Lips’ 20 year anniversary that I even forgot to get paid! When many smaller businesses are seeing tough times, Yvonne Lame and company have seen their drag-themed restaurant flourish and branch out to Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta and San Diego—with Chicago coming soon.

The newish Midtown East location is larger and glitzier than the West Village location, but it’s maintained its resplendent tackiness, with a fabulous no-corner-left-unmirrored aesthetic.

Yvonne’s demented, taunting voice is still on that answering machine and still they come. What a nut—and a nut who has kept a lot of “girls” employed in a lot of cities for a lot of years.

A few of the girls, like Gusty Winds and All Beef Patty, have been there since the first location opened. And many past employees popped by: Regine, Lailah Lancing, Milan (a.k.a. Dwayne Cooper), Peppermint, Sherry Vine, Logan Slaughter, Ginger Snapt, Destiny, Lindsey, Amanda Black, Regine, Vizcaya Johnson, Porsche, Melinda Tanqueray, and so many more.

So nice to see Jennifer Michaels back-in-time boogieing on the dance floor with her selfie stick. How times have changed in 20 years! Gusty dedicated her number to the late Cashetta, who passed away last year.

We’ve all shared so many mad moments together all over the city. And these gals have all tolerated a smashed drunken Bunny, who used to roar into Lips and light them up with so much insanity. I hope they forgot most of it.

Frankie Cocktail Fioravonti was ruling in a dynamite updo and gown. How many people’s nights has that thing made with a stiff drink and a salty tale? Loved seeing the paparazzi go wild for him.

Bianca Leigh was lovely and chic as usual. Jesse Volt does a mean Cher and still looks gorgeous, though I’m afraid my side angle view from the DJ booth doesn’t do any favors to illusionists. (Don’t ask me how I know.)

Mirkala Crystal tore the house down with a Latin number, the luscious Morgan Semaj Bennett did a terrific Whitney, even dancing a little. (Far better than Whitney ever did.)

But that’s kind of the point of lip sync: All the queens who do it are working from the same audio—so it’s about what they add in terms of costuming, choreography, attitude and performance. Often, the queens are better dancers and have more stage presence than the pop stars they’re emulating.

I asked the girls what kind of music they wanted and Blackie O (who can really rap!) said “Black people music.” I was happy to oblige with Mary Mary, Zhane, Black Box, etc. I loved seeing a table of black ladies seated in my corner, grooving to the jazz guitar solo of the remix of Heather Headley’s beautiful “I Wish I Wasn’t In Love With You.”

Do today’s songs have instrumental solos anymore? Is anyone else missing musicianship?

Also seen: Dorothy Bishop decked out as Hillary Clinton, complete with a Trump voodoo doll which she was sticking pins into the penis area—Is that sexist?—between coughing fits. I love this crazy bitch!

Lavinia Draper, Odyssey’s Frankie Frankie C, Stonewall’s Mike Salinari, Miss Understood in a flashy suit, DJ Michael Magnan, Torin, Alex Kircala, Jeff Eason, Anthony Garanes and lots of cuties!

I don’t think we should have to wait 20 years for another party this fun! Congrats to  all!

Annual “Speedo Hike” Cancelled So Overweight People Won’t Be Offended

From: Queerty
Some bad news for you. Every year, member of Claremont College’s outdoors club On The Loose (OTL) gather together in swim briefs and bikinis to take part in a strenuous “Speedo Hike” up California’s Mount Baldy. But not so fast, Lycra lover.

According to Heat Street, this annual tradition has been unceremoniously dropped due to students’ fear that the event simply isn’t inclusive enough.

In fact, the whole brouhaha might even be a bit too “bro-centric” for their taste — though Speedos and bros don’t exactly equate in our minds, we must admit.

This distressing news comes by way of the club’s Facebook page, via a post explaining that the group wants to be a “more open and inclusive space.”

They feel the event’s very existence “unintentionally sent the message that to participate in OTL, you must be fit and comfortable with your body image.”

The name ‘Speedo’ itself inherently implies bro-iness. OTL is so much more than just that, but many potentially interested students get turned off to our club each year because of Speedo Hike.”

They also make the (fair enough) assertion that corralling more than a hundred half-naked people to stampede up a 10,000-foot mountain might be an idea worth doing away with altogether.

Talking to the Collage Fix, one student sounds upset about the cancellation and finds it “completely unnecessary.”

He thinks that if the club “wants to cater to out-of-shape, non-outdoorsy students, perhaps they should consider starting a different club.”

On the other hand, who’s saying people who weigh on the heavier side are naturally adverse to Speedos in the first place?

Alicia Machado Responds to Trump’s ‘Sex Tape’ Attacks in Spanish, on Instagram

From: Towleroad
Former Miss Universe Alicia Machado responded to attacks from Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in a post written in Spanish, on Instagram.

Trump spent the hours between 3 am and 6 am one morning on Twitter, accusing Machado of having a sex tape and urging the public to watch it.

Said Trump in a series of tweets:

“Anytime you see a story about me or my campaign saying “sources said,” DO NOT believe it. There are no sources, they are just made up lies!…Wow, Crooked Hillary was duped and used by my worst Miss U. Hillary floated her as an “angel” without checking her past, which is terrible!…Using Alicia M in the debate as a paragon of virtue just shows that Crooked Hillary suffers from BAD JUDGEMENT! Hillary was set up by a con… Did Crooked Hillary help disgusting (check out sex tape and past) Alicia M become a U.S. citizen so she could use her in the debate?”

The Daily Beast and other outlets have investigated and have found no evidence any such tape exists.

Machado responded in a post on Instagram:

Loose translation (apologies for any mistranslation, we’ll correct):

The Republican candidate and his campaign team are again generating attacks and insults, and trying to revive slurs and false accusations about my life. All this in order to intimidate and humiliate me again.
The attacks that have emerged are cheap lies and slanders with no foundation in truth, generated with bad intentions, and spread by sensationalist media. This, of course, is not the first time that I have faced such a situation. Through his campaign of hate, the Republican candidate seeks to discredit and demoralize women, which is definitely one of his worst traits. With this, he seeks to distract attention from real problems and the fact that he is not qualified to lead this great country.
When I was a young girl, the now candidate humiliated me, insulted me publicly, disrespected me in the cruelest way. It is clear that the same actions and behavior have been repeated with other women for decades. Therefore, I will keep standing, sharing my story, my absolute support for Mrs. Clinton on behalf of women, my sisters, aunts, grandmothers, cousins, friends and the female community. I want to thank you for all the support, love and respect you have given to my career, myself as a human being and my family. I became a citizen of this great country because my daughter was born here and because I wanted to exercise my rights, including voting.
I will continue standing firm in my experience as Miss Universe. I’ve been so happy with the many kind words, and grateful for so much love. I’m focusing on my busy career, in my work as mother and I will continue taking positive steps for the Latino community, I will continue as an activist for women’s rights so we can gain the respect we deserve. I appreciate all your love and all your support again, thanks. Thousands of blessings.

Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon Tear Up the First Trump-Clinton Debate on SNL

From: Towleroad
The season premiere of Saturday Night Live kicked off by taking on last week’s presidential debate, with Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump facing off against Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton.

The sketch hilariously condensed the debate’s most notable moments — calling Sean Hannity, Alicia Machado, the Hillary shimmy, and the “extremely rough” statement Trump held back from saying:

“I was going to say something very rough to Hillary tonight but I said to myself ‘I can’t do it I just can’t do it.’ But if I had said it it would have been a nuclear bomb. Because in the ’90s our president was a man named Bill Clinton…And in 1998 – get this – he had an affair. It’s true. My investigators are looking into it right now. It was a woman, named Monica. Very heavy. I don’t have her last name yet but when I get it I’m going to set my alarm for 3:20 am and go sit on my golden toilet bowl and tweet about it to completion.”

Inspiring Collabaoration:

QABradford by YogaBear Studio
From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things

It’s always a pleasure to work with someone with such a perfect physique, matched by a artistic approach to posing. It really was an inspiring collaboration.'

Although the male form is without a doubt the theme that drives FH, most who check in each day, know that it is the writer and creator within me that provides the fuel. That being said, it is always welcomed when the artists I profile also have a passion for writing and as you can, and will read, writing is just the beginning of the many passions that fuel Qamar Bradford.

David describes him as very driven, with a strong spiritual practice which the San Diego photographer shares brought a surge of creativity to the session. Within his work with David, Qamar channeled all of his passions creating an artistic depiction of the male form, strong, confident and powerful Qamar is soulful and spiritual, sensual and both sexually energized and knowing.

A Japanese language major and art minor in his undergraduate, Qamar specialized in comic books arts, pen and ink, computer coloring and graphic design. His many experiences culminated in studying at Osaka University of Arts where he began modeling. Qamar says that the rest now history, and poised him with his current career as an artistic collaborator, developer and marketer with QABProServ.com, Qamar's personal studio which offers a a multitude of professional services

Qamar on David and YogaBear Studio....

'I was first introduced to David through the male nude yogis Robert Grebleho, and then Timothy Schultheis of North Park Yoga. What I immediately noticed was David’s Japanese influence Jiraiya of G-Men Magazine. Since my community college years, after I took my first sexual psychology course, I began seeking what I could call a “sexual enlightenment”.'

'It’s beyond obvious that with all the divorce rates, alimony issues, rape cases, domestic violence, human trafficking, LGBTQIA legal battles, etc. many people in society use sex and gender at the expense of others. So I felt the class expanded my capacity for understanding. Additionally, I was heavily into Japanese language and I stumbled across a website called Books Rose--probably now defunct. But it introduced me to the world of Japanese homoerotica and gay culture including video companies and other artists like Gengoroh Tagame. Jiraiya is an artist who often illustrated covers for the Japanese gay periodical G-Men.'

When I saw David’s art, there was a striking similarity and I was absolutely interested. As an artist myself, I could see his detailed eye for tonality, hue and photo realism and I was beyond thrilled to work with him. He was also very complimentary about my physique, which funny enough, although I work hard on it, compliments are a difficult thing to come by. I think especially in gay culture is easy because it's OK to be honest about the attraction to a well crafted figure, but in heterosexual culture it can only be said with a caveat if said at all. '

'What I liked most about David’s style is that not only could he pull off an Americanized feel Jiraiya in pin-up, his range broadens into artistic, painting realistic imagery. Rather than just ultra smooth touch ups, he produces interpretations reminiscent of Boris Vallejo oils. His skill is incredible and if the masses weren't as censoring of the male form, his work would popularly sell for high values in my opinion.'

 Qamar on Masculism...

'The world has a history of hierarchy and not just women suffer from male chauvinism and oppression, but men do to. I think in adopting thoughtfully integrating into masculine culture, there are valuable benefits of fraternity, camaraderie, social support, loyalty and even healthy and satisfying sexual expression. Masculinism is the other side of feminism and both are a means of fighting misanthropism. As an artist and performer I’m curious about real athletes, law enforcement, bad boys, etc. with unapologetically masculine traits, but also unafraid from the most intimate details of homosocial culture.'

'My experience in Japan gave me insight on how close men can be. And I think the sexual revolution creates a culture in the USA in which we can be closer. I like that. I think the world needs to see how tender and inoffensive it can be and how civilization--aqueducts, militias, arts--was built from those relationships. I feel the premature competition to reproduce and dominate interfere with our country’s ability to compete internationally in some ways. I think making sure that we men can express ourselves and still be respected as men is integral.'

'I also think that our cocks are beautiful and are unfairly censored and designated as obscene. Modesty is an honorable concept, but in a locker room, a group of guys, etc. shyness about your body is more an issue of isolation. It makes me wonder are we isolating ourselves or is society isolating the acceptability of masculinity. I think homosexuality and gay relationships is our real and organic training ground for learning tenderness, sultriness, seduction and sexual creativity before actually engaging in reproductive courtship.'

 Qamar on Health and Fitness...

'My athletic background is in martial arts, yoga and then physique building. I practiced Korean Karate for twelve years earning my second degree black belt. My instructor was also cross trained in yoga and hypnosis which gave me a strong foundation in meditation and stretching. I eventually moved toward weightlifting. I feel at home in a locker, gym and with other guys, grooming, pumping, etc. And I find those huge muscled bodybuilders and towering athletes irresistibly attractive.'

'In my maturity I’ve grown to love the beauty of my own physiology and that my real goal is longevity. The most important thing is that just like sex, muscle is a capacity that if you don’t use it, you lose it. Myosin and actin proteins make up your muscle and muscle not maintained naturally atrophies and comes out in our urine. Therefore I see exercise as religious and I try toward the gym daily if my schedule permits.'

October 12th is Pet Obesity Awareness Day

We humans spend a lot of time fretting over our own, and one another’s, weight, going to drastic measures to prevent or fight obesity, but what about our beloved pets? Believe it or not, animals suffer greatly as a result of obesity too. Not only does it drastically impact their general health, it also reduces their overall quality of life, often interfering with daily activities and their enjoyment of things like walking and playing ball. It is difficult to deny our furry companions of the food they constantly beg for, and seeing the delight on their faces when they are given treats and scraps from lunch or dinner is one of the greatest things about having a pet. But doing this regularly is doing more harm than good.

To raise awareness about this issue and promote healthier diets for our pets, many animal lovers get together one day a year to celebrate Pet Obesity Awareness Day. Veterinarians often lead the events where owners are encouraged to bring their dogs and cats along to receive complimentary health examination and screening. They can then receive advice, tips and nutrition plans from professionals in the field to help them reduce the weight of the dog or cat and stop the problem escalating further tailored to their pets’ requirements.

Be honest with what you want

If you are looking for sex, say so. There is no shame in looking for sex. In fact, sex is good. But fret not, romantics, because lots of people are looking for true love without jumping right to the spank and tickle, so keep things simple and make it easy for prospective suitors to sort through the field for eligible applicants. There is nothing more confusing than a self proclaimed romantic leading with a butt shot. Yes, navigating the boundaries of love and lust are difficult. But mixed messages are not sexy. They are simply exhausting.
