Travis Wade
1972—

Such a sorely missed Falcon-stable stud of the late '90s and early '00s, Wade made waves in fare like The Freshmen (1997) and Hardline (1997) before retiring, thus depriving the planet of his aw-shucks cuteness (if you could overlook that Dumb and Dumber 'do he sported early on) and spot-on body. But the top man did offer a parting gift when he parted his legs and bottomed in The Crush (2000). If that was meant to be a good-bye to porn, it was the best-bye ever!

36 Fetishes Every Gay Man Should Know

Clowns

Yes, it is true. I watched clown porn the other night just to see if this is a real fetish. It is.

I have heard it proposed more than once that fetishes are psychological conditions that manifest themselves as the only responses certain people can have to stimuli that they would otherwise consider repulsive. I personally have never fully bought this claim.  However, it is no secret that clowns - which likely be remembered in a thousand years as one of the worst creations of modern man - - are commonly fetishized figures, and I cannot help but wonder if fetishizing  clowns is  the only way some people can respond to their horror. The mind is capable of doing many incredible things, like transferring pain into pleasure, stress into desire and fear into eroticism, so while I cannot justifiably make the claim that all fetishes are the  mind's roundabout method of dealing with revulsion, I do wonder why clowns have emerged as such a surprisingly common fetish.

Aqualad

Aqualad has been part of the DC Universe for decades, usually as part of the Teen Titans, though more than one character has used the name. The newest Aqualad, Jackson Hyde, briefly appeared some years back as part of the “Brightest Day” crossover. He was then MIA until last summer, when he was reintroduced in a DC Rebirth one-shot.

But this seemed to be a new version of Hyde: For one thing, he’s gay—and sadly, living with a mom who berates him for his “unnatural” behavior.

The Jackson Hyde Aqualad will be joined DC’s teen crusaders in Teen Titans #6 in March.

1975

In 1975, the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning went to a comic strip for the first time - the nationally syndicated Doonesbury, which began on October 26, 1970. And I've been a fan ever since my aunt gave me this anthology collection for my 12th birthday in 1976.
